What are Gel Nails

Gel nails – also known as shellac nails – are a great option for those who want durable, long-lasting nails.

Gel nails are strong due to their thickness and gel consistency when compared to regular nail polish or acrylic nails. Meaning they are less likely to chip or get damaged in your daily comings and goings in life. This is great for those who can’t afford to sit around and wait for regular nail polish to dry.

They are versatile and come in a variety of colors that will match any nail art design you may want. Gel nails are also easier to remove than regular nail polish – making it easier to maintain a glamorous look.

One of the main shortcomings of gel nails is that they are applied to your natural nails. So, unlike acrylic nails, they cannot extend the length of your nails. This is why it is important that you maintain healthy nails with a good nail-care regime.
